		<title>Lose Weight Tips</title>
<description> [1]There are hoards of advice and suggestions in books, on TV, on the Internet, not forgetting all the helpful suggestions from people who have successfully lost weight or know a way to try! Lose weight tips [2] may sound like good advice and some will actually help people to lose weight, however, it is imperative if the weight is to remain off then a whole new eating regime has to be established and kept to, anyone who is obese or has an existing medical condition should seek medical advice as to the best diet regime to take.

Logically for most people the best lose weight tips are those which recommend an intake of fewer calories, combined with regular exercise. A nutritionally balanced diet is essential to sustain health, one of these simplest tips is to stop snacking on biscuits, cookies and crisps which are full of sugar, salts and fat. Snacking is often carried out through boredom, therefore finding a new hobby or interest will help take the mind away from food. Eating three or four sensible meals each day and substituting sugary snacks for fresh fruit will help weight loss. More importantly, once a regime has been completed that old unhealthy eating habits are not resumed otherwise the weight will simply pile back on.

Other lose weight tips which many people swear by is to stop drinking fizzy drinks, as these are packed full of calories and reducing alcohol consumption, stopping or reducing both of these will help to reduce weight. Fizzy drinks should be substituted with water, fresh fruit juices or tea without sugar. Caution should be taken with fresh fruit drinks as many commercially produced juices also contain sugar and sweeteners. Water is ideal as it contains no calories and drinking eight glasses of water each day will help restore the body's natural functions and improve overall well being. By drinking water before a meal will also help to reduce the amount of food eaten as the stomach will feel full.

Exercise should be taken regularly, it is not necessary to go to a gym, swimming, walking and cycling are all excellent cardiovascular exercises which will help reduce weight, as will brisk cleaning chores and gardening!

To effectively lose weight a diet needs to be realistic and purposeful, otherwise there is a tendency for people to jump in and out of diets without much success in shedding long term weight. Lose weight tips [2] are countless, it is a matter of taking on board those which are most suitable for each individual person in order for them to be truly effective and sustainable.

		<title>Diet Clinic</title>
<description> [1]There are numerous different diet clinic [2] diets, all of which aim to help people to lose weight through their weight loss clinics and treatments within a controlled environment. Many also claim to have experienced and qualified doctors and staff on hand to ensure that the person is looked after as an individual.

Diet clinics can also be found which take an holistic approach to weight lose, these take the cause of the excess weight into consideration rather than just focusing on weight lose, which without supervision is liable to return. The diet clinic will usually take a detailed account of an individual's personal circumstances, such as how long they have been overweight, current diet and eating habits and general health conditions.

A diet regime is then complied which will contain sufficient nutrients, proteins and vitamins to help weight to be lost. Many of the philosophies are to re-train and teach people which good foods to eat, sensible sized portions and an exercise program to follow during their stay at the clinic. This regime is then recommended to be used as a basis for introducing a lifelong eating and exercise regime in order for weight to remain stable.

Unfortunately there are many diet clinics which are not run or supervised by qualified staff and while a doctor may be seen at the initial consideration afterwards the receptionist or unqualified staff will advise and help you. Basically it is usually down to a matter of cost, qualified doctors and staff are expensive, and therefore the old adage 'you get what you pay for' seems to ring true when choosing a diet clinic. It is advisable to visit a few before making a final decision as to which one to attend.

Recommendations from other people should also be considered, beware not to be duped by testimonials, take the time to source a diet clinic which will suit your individual needs, help you lose weight by using a method which is realistic. It is inevitable that diets which simply cut out essential vitamins and minerals for a short duration will show instantaneous weight lose, however, the weight will simply be put back on once the 'fast diet' has stopped and you have returned to your usual eating patterns and regimes. Many diet clinics regimes also include taking pills, this is a matter of personal choice as to whether you are comfortable with taking these.

For a weight lose program which is dedicated to help you to look at your current eating habits, compiles a diet, exercise program and discusses the underlying causes of being overweight are probably going to be far more effective in the long term. A diet clinic [2] should at the very least offer all of these in order for you to be successful in losing weight and maintaining your ideal weight.

		<title>Special K Diet</title>
<description> [1]Recent television advertising promoting the Special K Diet [2] is promoting a diet which they claim can help people drop a dress size in two weeks.

The diet suggests that if people eat a breakfast comprising of a 45 gram bowl of Special K cereal with 125ml low fat milk and substitute either lunch or dinner with another 45 gram bowl of Special K and 125ml half fat, semi-skimmed, milk, if the third meal of the day (either lunch or dinner) is a balanced, healthy meal containing lots of fruit and vegetables, a source of protein such as lean grilled chicken or fish or vegetarian alternatives and carbohydrates in the form of jacket potatoes, rice, pasta or bread, then people will be able to lose sufficient amounts of weight to drop a dress size after two weeks. The diet also requires a regular intake of non-alcoholic and sugar reduced drinks.

The manufactures of Special K cereal, Kellogg’s, back their claim with scientific evidence from a leading university. The university were asked to look at the effects of eating two bowls of Special K cereal twice a day for two weeks would have on body shape and fat percentage. The third meal was as suggested above and any snacks were replaced with Special K snack bars or fruit.

The study involved overweight volunteers whose body shape measurements and trouser size were taken at the start and again after two weeks of following the regime. The scientific studies showed that 75% of the volunteers had slimmer hips and waist after the two week programme which they concluded was due partly to loss of body fat from these two areas, for three out of four people.

For the general public Kellogg's recommend that a person is over 18 years old and that their Body Mass Index (BMI) is calculated prior to beginning the diet and should be 25 or over for their diet to be most effective. Kellogg’s do also state that their Special K Diet is not recommended as a long diet but as a way to kick-start people into losing weight fast and helping them to begin a healthy eating life style.

They also recommend that if a person is wishing to lose more than 20% of their starting weight, have a medical condition or are taking medication that a doctor is consulted before starting the Special K Diet [2].

		<title>Low Diets</title>
<description> [1]Many people have to follow low diets [2] due to underlying medical conditions such as high cholesterol, or the need to reduce their sodium levels, by restricting the amount of salt in their diet. A diet which is low in carbohydrates is followed by many, many people who are trying to lose weight.

A low carbohydrate diet is followed by reducing the quantity of carbohydrates consumed on a daily basis. One of the easiest ways to do this is to either cut down or stop eating foods such as cakes, pastries especially if they are made from white flour. The Atkins Diet is a low carbohydrate diet in which these types of food are not recommended to be eaten.

A low carbohydrate diet excludes foods which have no particular nutritional value and tend to be foods which are eaten as a ‘comfort’ food for many overweight people. These foods are characteristically full of fats, white flour and copious amounts of sugar, which is one of the reasons many people find them good to eat! They are also extremely fattening and by cutting those out from a diet will inevitably help people to lose weight at a fairly fast rate, however, in order to keep the lost weight from returning these foods will have to be eliminated from a diet forever.

If a low carbohydrate diet is followed for example for three months and then the person returns to eating these types of foods it can almost be guaranteed that their weight will return. As previously mentioned the health benefits of cakes and pastries is virtually non-existent, therefore it is possible never to eat these foods and remain healthy, if not healthier than when eating them. Carbohydrates and sugars are needed to be included in a healthy diet; however, it is far healthier to obtain these from natural fruits and vegetables.

Low diets which need to be followed for medical reasons should be discussed and advice taken from a doctor and or a medical dietician. Low sodium diets are often advised to prevent heart disease and followed by people who have an existing heart condition or a family history of heart disease. Their has been much publicity regarding the amount of salt included in the majority of processed foods. Studies and researches have shown that many people eat far too much salt and great pains have been taken to bring people’s attention to try and reduce the amount of salt and ‘hidden’ salts they consume each day.

By following a low sodium or salt diet will have be of great benefit to everyone, irrespective of whether or not they have a heart condition. The very easy thing to do to reduce the amount of sodium eaten is to not use salt in cooking and either stop or reduce the amount of processed foods such as ‘fast foods’, tinned foods and boxed noodles. Sodium low diets [3] are also very useful for those who have excess fluid retention and will also be an effective way to help reduce weight.

		<title>Easy Loss</title>
<description> [1]Many people try a variety of different diets which claim to provide an easy loss [2] diet. However, in order to lose weight and keep the weight off usually means a complete change of eating regimes and life style.

Easy loss of weight can be achieved by reducing calorie intake drastically, this type of weight loss is not generally sustainable and often requires essential food groups, minerals and vitamins to be removed or substantially reduced from the diet over a short duration of time.

People are becoming more and more aware of the detrimental effects of being overweight can have on health. Losing weight at a steady rate and combined with exercise is more beneficial to keeping weight from returning once the diet has stopped. Changing the way and types of foods eaten needs to become part of a daily routine which will last a life time for some.

There are many different diets and diet supplements which can effectively shed pounds in an easy loss diet but it is highly unlikely that these diets will be beneficial in the long term. Natural weight loss is becoming increasingly popular, diets from around the world include a whole host of different foods which include eating plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables on a daily basis.

Easy loss can be achieved by simply looking at what and how much food are eaten then switching items for less fattening versions. For example changing from full fat milk to semi-skimmed milk and eating the 'light' versions of spreads which are made from olive oil rather than animal fats can help to reduce weight, once these switches have been made it is recommended that you never return to eating the former items.

Weight loss can also be achieved by simply eating natural foods, processed foods and ready meals are not only packed full of calories they also contain high amounts of salt which far exceed recommended daily intakes, as well as many artificial additives and preservatives which have no health values at all.

Any diet should be combined with regular exercise, there is no need to spend excessive amounts of money joining a gym, walking, swimming and cycling are all effective ways of taking exercise which are far easy to incorporate into people's lifestyles and therefore more likely to be continued.

Slow steady weight loss has been proven to not only far easier to maintain but will also adapt the body to a different way of eating, natural foods will not only be an effective easy loss [3] of weight but will help improve skin and hair condition.

		<title>Easy Diets</title>
<description> [1]For anyone who has been or is currently on a diet will probably not believe that there is such a thing as an easy diets [2]. However, there are diets which are far easier to keep on track with and successfully lose weight than others. For example diets which restrict and forbid a certain food or food type will undoubtedly make you crave for that food even more than normal, so you have just one small piece or portion of that forbidden food and then believe you are a failure and weak willed so the chances are you will give up on the diet altogether.

There are some very easy diets to follow and these are usually based on some very basic principles which are not only easy to follow but also successful in helping you to lose weight and more importantly if you then continue following the easy diet your weight will remain stable, no more yoyo weight problem!

Begin each day by drinking a glass of either bottled or filtered water, about half an hour later have a large breakfast consisting of fresh fruit, plain yoghurt, rye bread which is sugar free, salmon and basically anything which is organic. You can even have bacon and eggs, as long as the bacon is grilled and the eggs poached, boiled or scrambled. Steer well away from commercial cereals which are full of sugar and artificial sweeteners and by changing from full cream milk to semi-skimmed will help you lose pounds!

Throughout the day drink a minimum of eight glasses of bottled or filtered water, this is best sipped frequently rather than being drunk in one large amount. Take at least one hours exercise, such as walking every day. You weight loss will be far more effectual if you include exercise every day.

Another excellent easy diets tip is to stop eating after 6 p.m. although this can be extremely difficult to fit in with a normal routine it will enable food to be digested properly before going to sleep, you can and should continue to drink water or any drink which does not contain any sugar, soft drinks, particularly if they are carbonated, should be avoided altogether.

Many overweight people eat because they are bored, so by taking up a hobby or interest and keeping yourself busy is an effective way to keep you away from food and thinking about it as your concentration will be focused on something else.

Try eating regularly; skipping meals will not help you to lose weight, in fact quite the reverse. Skipped and missed meals may mean that you are snacking which is not going to help with weight loss, it can also mean that when you come to eat you will be so hungry you will pile far too much food onto your plate and gulp it down far too quickly, which is not only bad for digestion but also does not give your brain sufficient time to send out the ‘full’ signal.

An easy diets [2] plan which prompts you to plan your meals in advance enables you to know what you can expect to eat within a few hours but will also reduces the urge to go to the convenience store or fast food restaurants. Planning meals which are healthy, and include a variety of different fresh fruits and vegetables and steering clear of processed foods, as these have an incredibly high sugar content will not only be far healthier for you but will give you a focus and help keep you busy thinking and preparing the food rather than snacking

		<title>Popular Fad Diets</title>
<description> [1]The most popular fad diets [2] are those which make the headlines making people rush off and try them!

In the past fad diets were just a gimmick, something that only celebrities and the truly desperate of us tried… jump forward to 2008 and it seems like everybody has tried a fad diet or two!

A trendy diet is the Zone diet, it is perceived as a fad diet because the program is very rigid. To get into the 'zone' you must follow the program to the letter, which means you can only eat at certain times of the day while maintaining the 30:40 ratio of protein to carbohydrates. The meals consumed should be no more than 500 calories and snacks must be less than 100 calories.

Any 'eat one type of food only' is a fad diet. After only eating one certain food such as bananas over one or two days is bound to have a dramatic decrease in weight, however, once other foods are reintroduced the weight will return,. This fad diet is unhealthy in as much as vital sources of proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins etc. are not balanced or consumed in sufficient quantities to maintain health.

Food combining diets are popular fad diets which claim to work on the premise that dieters only eat fruit and fruit juices in the morning and lunch and dinner cannot be 'combined'. For example protein foods such as meat and dairy products cannot be eaten with carbohydrates. Weight loss is achieved by reduction in calories consumed.

Low carbohydrate and high protein diets are based on the premise that by reducing intake of carbohydrates the body uses reserves of fat for energy, thus causing a weight loss.

Other fad diets include the use of slimming pills which is a popular way to try and lose weight fast.

The Grapefruit diet plan is based on low carbohydrate intake while eating grapefruit with every meal! Rapid weight loss is achieved initially but soon returns when normal eating is resumed.

The 48 hour Hollywood diet is a fad diet which claims you will lose 10lbs over 2 days. It basically comprising of a juice fast. The most important part of this diet is the juice which you have to purchase. This 'juice' cleanses and detoxifies your system; the weight lost is predominately water.

The Apple Cider Vinegar diet has been used for many years and claims that by drinking the Apple Cider Vinegar tonic stored fat is burned and weight loss will ensue because the body will use its reserves of fat.

Popular fad diets [3] do not provide a lasting solution to weight loss, the restricted calorie intakes are usually far too demanding or impossible to follow and as soon as a normal diet is resumed so the weight returns.
